KENTE BONWIRE

Curator's Note

Some patterns are worn. Others are remembered.

Kente Bonwire takes its name from Bonwire, the Ghanaian village long recognized as the birthplace and spiritual home of Asante kente weaving.

Drawing inspiration from the visual language of West African weaving—not as imitation, but as conversation—geometry becomes rhythm, color becomes memory, and every line acknowledges the hands that transformed thread into identity.

Within the Cosaan Collection, Kente Bonwire reflects a belief that design can carry more than objects. It can carry stories, craftsmanship, and the enduring connection between source and expression.

Wear your many stories

Every woven tradition begins with a thread.

Inspired by the weaving tradition of Bonwire, Ghana, this collection reimagines one of West Africa's most celebrated textiles for contemporary life.
